Chapter 1: The Beginning of the Wind
Long ago, when the world was quieter than it is now, the wind used to speak to people.
The wind said, “Stand here.” “Do not move now.” “Nurture this fire.” “Do not fear this shadow.” and taught them the rhythm of the world.
But as time passed, people stopped hearing the voice of the wind.
The towns grew noisy, the lights too bright, the pace too fast, and people forgot their own breath.
Yet in such an age, there was one person who continued to listen to the wind.
